I have been pro-life since I met Jesus, although I was not always as familiar with the abortion endemic as I am now. God has given me many talents that make me an excellent communicator, and a staunch defender of his Word. As such, I have always endeavored to be a voice for the voiceless. Many times in school and the military I have engaged in heartfelt debates about the sanctity of human life.
My life verse, which is quite literally written on my arm, is “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12, NKJV.
Even from the beginning of my journey with Christ I have been adamant that what his Word says is the truth and it is useful to everyone (2 Tim 3:16). As the Volunteer Manager at Women’s Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada I not only have a chance to “practice what I preach,” but I get to equip others to do the same! I am truly blessed and humbled for this opportunity to shine brightly for Jesus.
