Dawn Boyer

Volunteer Nurse Manager

Dawn was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Her family was involved in their local church where she was exposed to and learned from many different missionaries. At an early age she felt called to missionary work and felt that nursing would be the most versatile career choice for this calling. From childhood, through college and even into marriage, she looked for opportunities to serve.

In 1998 the Airforce moved her and her husband to Las Vegas. Here, after several job and volunteer positions, she felt a longing to help people before they were living through the consequences of poor choices. While praying through this desire, she attended a women’s business luncheon and heard a representative from the Women’s Resource Medical Centers speak. After being nearly electrocuted by the Holy Spirit, she immediately started volunteering in the fall of 2000.

“Watching the Living Word touch and change the lives of men and women, unborn to grandparents, from more countries, ethnic and religious groups, than any one person could ever visit, is a divine, awe inspiring wonder. Only an active, personal God could weave the dreams of a 12 year old girl into His eternal purposes.”

“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ…We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” II Corinthians 5:18, 19a, 20
