We are always looking for individuals who have a heart to serve in this ministry. There are many ways to become involved at Women's Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada. From working directly with patients to working behind the scenes, there is something for everyone. Listed below are some of the current volunteer opportunities.

Personal Advocate

This training provides important information on a wide range of subjects. Our goal is to educate and equip Missionaries who are called by God to save innocent lives and to bring the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ to those whose minds are set on death.

The Personal Advocate will learn how to gather necessary information from the patient in order to assess their needs, help them set future goals and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.  The Personal Advocate will be required to enter patient data into our database, while communicating the benefits of our programs. The Personal Advocate will be responsible for scheduling the patient’s next appointment(s).

Missionary Counselor

Missionary Counselors counsel one-on-one with patients in the Clinic. They attend Missionary Counselor training sessions that teach them how to embrace those who are abortion-minded. Upon graduation, they become certified crisis counselors. To qualify to be a Missionary Counselor, Personal Advocate training must be completed along with additional service requirements. Male Advisor 

Male Advisors counsel one-on-one with male patients in the Clinic in order to mentor them and make them aware of fatherhood responsibilities. To qualify to be a Male Advisor, Personal Advocate training must be completed along with additional requirements. Job Description

 
 

Medical Missionary

Medical Missionaries utilize ultrasound technology to counsel one-on-one in the Clinics. They attend the same semester of training as the Missionary Counselors and upon graduation, they too will be certified in crisis counseling. We then proceed to professionally train them to become a skilled ultrasound technician within the capacity that they will be required to scan our pregnant patients. Anyone with a current license in the following fields is encouraged to apply as a Medical Missionary: Licensed Physician, Certified Nurse Midwife, RN or Ultrasound Tech. Job Description

Agape Volunteer

Agape Volunteers work indirectly behind the scenes to contribute to the success of the mission of saving lives.
 
The first step to become an Agape Volunteer is attending one of the New Volunteer Orientations.
